A few months ago we held our first ever voting contest here at the Catholic Youth Ministry Hub. Our goal was to collect several of the greatest Catholic Youth Ministry Posts of all time. Now we know that our ministry is a bit new, our following is limited, but we are happy with the results.
How it Worked…
We had our readers and anyone interested send in their favorite Catholic Youth Ministry Blog posts of all time. We then narrowed those down to our top favorites. After that we held a session of voting where we asked all of our readers to read the five posts and then vote on their favorite.
Out of the five posts, there was one post that received many more votes than the rest. But first let’s reveal once again the other posts that we voted on.
- The Pizza Party is SO Over by D. Scott Miller
- Down with Youth Groups by Eric Gallagher
- Evangelization Doesn’t Work Anymore by Frank Mercadante
- Pope Benedict’s Guide to Youth Ministry by Amy Welborn
Thank you to all of the bloggers for their participation (whether they even knew they were participating!)
The winning post goes to Eric Porteous from the Lifeteen blog in his post 10 Things I Wish Someone Told Me Before I Became a Youth Minister.
Thank you all again for participating and look forward to more contests in the near future.
Did we miss any other great posts? Please comment below if you missed the entry time and would like to tell our readers about others…
